We're kids, not bots. Kids, not bots no robots. Sounds like beep burp bop. Hey everyone, happy Friday. Welcome to this super exciting episode of AI for Kids, because today's a double celebration Not only is it National STEM Day, but it's also the launch day of our newest book Let Kids Be Kids, not Robots Embracing Childhood in an Age of AI. Yes, it's finally here, and I can't wait for you all to check it out.

Speaker 1:

This book has been a passion project. I wanted to create something that introduces kids to AI but doesn't take away the magic of just being a kid. It's all about balance right Helping kids understand the tech world they're growing up in while keeping their creativity and curiosity alive. So this isn't a dry textbook style introduction to AI. We get more technical in this book than we did in our AI Meets AI book, but even still, it's a fun early chapter book aimed at ages five to nine, full of stories and examples that make learning about AI feel like a new adventure.

Speaker 1:

And because today is National STEM Day, what better time to release a book that gets kids excited about science and tech in a way that's relatable and engaging? We're celebrating all things STEM and STEAM, but more than that, we're embracing the idea that tech can coexist with play, imagination and those priceless moments of childhood. I also released a song that is based on this book as well, to further that along. I want kids to play, jump around, and there's a time to sit down, there's a time to listen, but there's also a time to have fun, and we're an edutainment-focused company. We want kids to be educated and entertained.

Speaker 1:

So if you are a parent, a teacher or just someone who believes in raising curious, tech-savvy kids without losing sight of their childhood Let Kids Be Kids, not Robots is here for you. Go ahead, grab your copy today and join us in celebrating National STEM Day with a book that's all about empowering kids in a fun, down-to-earth way. Thanks for tuning in and sharing this lunch day with me. Let's keep our kids curious, creative and confident in this tech-filled world. And happy reading, bye-bye.
